Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station is seeking a dependable Part-Time Opening Support Teacher to help prepare classrooms and greet children each morning. You’ll support breakfast service, assist teachers, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment during the early hours.

The role requires flexible movement between classrooms, punctuality, and strong communication with families and staff. A 10-hour mandatory training is required before start date.

• Experience with young children in childcare or preschool settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening classrooms and ensuring learning environments are ready for children.
• Help welcome and receive children each morning.
• Support breakfast service, including area prep and cleanup.
• Provide classroom support to teachers in designated classrooms.
• Assist with supervising children during morning activities and routines.
• Cover teacher breaks and support in different classrooms as needed.
• Provide coverage for various classroom needs due to staff absences.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classrooms.
• Work with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow school policies, health and safety guidelines, and licensing requirements.
