Job summary
Visiting Angels Jersey Shore is seeking a caring Morning CHHA to support clients living at home with safety and dignity. You will travel to clients' homes to provide direct care, including personal care, ambulation, and light housekeeping, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
This hourly, non-exempt position offers flexible shifts with no guaranteed minimum hours, and benefits including health and dental insurance.
Qualifications
- Valid CHHA certification (NJ Board licensed).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Driver's license preferred.
- Ability to observe patients accurately and respond to health changes.
- Compassionate with strong communication; able to work independently and with a team.
- Physical stamina for mobility tasks and caregiving duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care including personal care and grooming.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility tasks.
- Perform homemaking, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
- Support with other activities of daily living.
- Work under a Registered Nurse with no supervision responsibilities.
