Job summary

Home Helpers of Bergen County is seeking compassionate CHHAs to join our Bergen County team. You’ll provide non-medical home care in clients’ homes, helping them live safely and independently while delivering companionship and daily support.

We offer mornings, afternoons, weekdays, and weekends to fit your schedule. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Active, valid NJ CHHA certification required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a client's home and pass a background check.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.

About the role

Home Helpers is a home care agency based in Allendale, NJ, and we're looking for compassionate, certified CHHAs to join our growing team. Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or a steady full-time schedule, we have shifts that work for you — mornings, afternoons, weekdays, and weekends.

This is non-medical home care. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.

What you'll do
