Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver for a full-time daytime shift (6am–2pm). You will support residents with daily activities, assist with medications as approved by state, and document progress daily to ensure quality care in a compassionate environment.

We value empathy, responsibility, and honest communication as part of our long-standing mission to provide dignified senior living. Prior CNA or caregiver experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
