Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver to assist residents with daily activities, manage medications as allowed by state regulations, and complete daily progress reports. Shifts available: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm in our Glen Riddle community.

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (Chart by exception).

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
