Job summary

Visiting Angels Richardson TX is hiring a Morning Caregiver to enrich clients' quality of life at home. You’ll assist with exercises, meals, and mobility, while providing companionship and safe, compassionate support.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid license and reliable vehicle, plus 2+ years caregiving experience. Training in First Aid is provided; opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check).

Role

As a Visiting Angels Morning Caregiver, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Morning Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Minimum 2 Years Professional Caregiving Experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
