Job summary

Starting August 17, 2026, the district offers housing assistance and a one-time bonus of $1,125 for staff newly hired for the 2026/2027 school year. Salary is $22.40–$23.56 per hour, non-exempt, ESP Salary Schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining safe student conduct on routes.
• Help loading/unloading passengers, including wheelchairs and strollers.
• Coordinate with staff on IEPs/504 plans relevant to transportation needs.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs and safety devices during transport.
• Maintain emergency card book and document incidents as required.
• Assist with emergency evacuation plans and drills; participate in trainings.
• Provide first aid during emergencies when trained and required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Transportation Department.
