Job summary

Raines Co. is seeking an energetic server to join our morning team and brunch weekend shifts in Asheville, NC. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with a focus on hospitality and accuracy.

Experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred. You will work with the team to maintain quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while leveraging upselling opportunities. Hilton discounts are available to all employees.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a restaurant serving role.
• Problem solver with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Receive and deliver orders and collect payment.
• Assist in maintaining product quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards.
• Ensure fast, friendly, accurate service and assist team with tasks.
• Train new staff and communicate with restaurant management.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks using upselling techniques.
• Know menus and specials; ring orders and handle payments accurately.
• Comply with state food handling and liquor laws and maintain a clean restaurant.
