Qualificações

• High school diploma required; associate degree strongly preferred.
• Medical terminology and computer experience preferred.
• Must be able to work with dead bodies.
• Morgue/funeral home experience required.
• Tolerate occasional odors and sights.
• Be extremely accurate in identification, records, and procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory calculations accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with good judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Checks autopsy status; places release sheets on morgue drawers.
• Reviews EPIC data and papers; notifies pathologist; transports remains.
• Generates BD powerpath case numbers and logs notes.
• Handles paperwork for death processing and release of remains.
• Issues daily Morgue inventory reports and communicates changes to Decedent Affairs.
• Maintains instruments and the autopsy environment; assists pathology staff.
