An automotive dealership in the Town of Carmel is looking for a skilled Service Technician with over 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess FCA/Stellantis Certification and be proficient in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based, dynamic environment are essential for this position. Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• FCA/Stellantis Certification is a must.
• A-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair required.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose issues using tools.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
