Job summary

Volz Auto Group in the Town of Carmel, NY is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform repairs and diagnostics while maintaining dealership standards. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and communicate with service advisors to keep customers informed about next steps.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in service, FCA/Stellantis certification, and knowledge of new vehicle tech. A team-focused, customer-service mindset and a valid driver’s license are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• FCA/Stellantis Certification
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
• Positive, friendly attitude with customer service mentality
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
