Job summary

Town & Country Ford Nashville is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will test components, communicate with the Service Advisor, and provide accurate time estimates for needed repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• A-level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.
• 5+ years of service technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency per dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services needed.
• Provide accurate time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
