The Peoria Park District is seeking a Monticello Education Intern to coordinate field trips and educational programs at the PlayHouse. You will work with children aged 0-9 and assist in creating interactive learning experiences, ensuring a positive atmosphere for our visitors.

The Monticello Education Intern works under the general supervision of the Education Manager – PlayHouse and is responsible for a range of educational and support functions within the museum and PlayHouse environment.
Education: A college degree is required. A degree in Education, Museum Studies, Art, or Early Childhood Development is a plus. Recent graduate status is preferred.
Experience: Experience in a formal or informal educational setting working with children 0-9 years of age. Previous experience in a museum or with customer service is a plus. Experience or desire to work with a highly diverse audience in a busy atmosphere. Must have experience or interest in working with children and families in an informal educational setting.
