• Background in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller-level role.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and make progress in an environment with outstanding accounting work.
• QuickBooks experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with or lead the month-end close process and bring accounting records up to date.
• Review general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee and review accounts payable and accounts receivable activities performed by existing accounting staff.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, outstanding items, and accounting cleanup needs.
• Support year-end preparation and related accounting activities.
• Assist with accounting software upgrades and process improvements.
• Partner with finance leadership to strengthen accounting procedures, reporting, and controls.
