Job summary

Hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, requiring knowledge of NCAS/NCFS/IBIS, GAAP, and proficient Excel/Word, with responsibilities including cash projections and year-end closings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline with 18 accounting hours.
• Knowledge of GAAP and governmental accounting principles.
• Ability to review transactions and correct discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile disbursing accounts, payroll, health benefits, and suspense accounts.
• Perform month-end closing and record all allotments for pre-certification.
• Prepare weekly cash projections and coordinate with OSC.
• Contribute to year-end closing and ACFR reporting.
• Analyze and respond to state and federal audit findings.
