Job summary

Montessori Academy of Decatur in Decatur, GA is seeking a dedicated early childhood educator to guide a prepared Montessori Primary classroom for ages 3–6. The role emphasizes observation, individualized lessons, and fostering independence, concentration, and collaboration with families.

The ideal candidate holds Montessori certification (AMI/AMS or equivalent) and has at least 5 years of experience in a Montessori setting, with strong communication and a passion for child-centered learning.

Qualifications

• Montessori Certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of early childhood teaching experience.
• Experience in a Montessori Primary classroom or with young children strongly preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
