Job summary

Montessori Academy of Decatur is seeking a dedicated Montessori guide for our Primary classroom (ages 3–6). You will implement Montessori principles, develop individualized lessons, and nurture an inclusive, independent learning environment that supports each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Montessori Primary Certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of early childhood teaching experience required.
• Experience in a Montessori Primary classroom or with young children strongly preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated passion for working with children and commitment to Montessori philosophy.
