Job summary

Norfolk Public Schools seeks a Title I Paraprofessional for Lincoln Montessori in Norfolk, Nebraska. The role supports teachers, assists with instruction and student transportation, and helps maintain classroom order during a 9-month, 30-hour week schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, some college or experience, and, if possible, bilingual Spanish/English. CPR/First Aid is a plus, but not required; we value reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Some college and/or experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish/English preferred, but not required.
• First aid/CPR certificate preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistent and punctual on-site attendance is expected.
• Assist the teacher in providing education, instruction, and student transportation.
• Maintain classroom order and confidentiality; reinforce skills taught by the teacher.
• Perform clerical duties as needed (typing, preparing bulletin boards, etc.).
• Assist with inventory of supplies and materials.
• Supervise groups of students as directed by supervisor/teacher.
