Apple Montessori Schools in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant and Toddler programs. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and a passion for working with children. You will help maintain a safe classroom, assist with lesson plans, communicate with families, and participate in staff development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capacity to multi-task in a changing environment.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work with Lead Teacher to implement lesson plans.
• Love of children and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support and implement lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with family communication.
• Encourage positive self-image while supporting individuality, independence, and creativity.
