Job summary

Cadence Education in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an Associate Montessori Teacher to join our warm, child-centered classrooms serving infants through Kindergarten. You will work alongside trained Montessori teachers to foster a love of learning and a nurturing environment.

Requirements include CDA or an Associate's degree (or some college coursework), a minimum age of 18, and preferred a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the Montessori classroom under the direction of trained teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in line with Montessori principles.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding health and care of students.

Our Associate teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old).
