Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking an Associate Montessori Teacher to join our caring team, supporting classrooms for infants through kindergarten. This full-time role partners with trained Montessori Teachers to deliver our curriculum and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities include assisting in the classroom, maintaining a safe environment, supervising children, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health and care of students.

Education
