Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to join a happy school focused on creating a love of learning for children from birth through age 6. You will work alongside trained Montessori teachers in a full-time role, contributing to a safe, engaging learning environment and supporting families with care and communication.

Our Associate teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). This is a full-time position which works alongside trained Montessori Teachers (as part of a teaching team) to deliver on our mission to develop a lifelong love of learning in our students.

Associate Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.

Associate Requirements

• Minimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework;
