Guidepost Montessori is hiring Substitute Guides for our Galleria location in Georgia. This part-time role offers varied hours Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., supporting a mixed-age classroom for ages 0–6.

You’ll help create engaging learning spaces and assist in activities that build independence and confidence. As a Substitute Assistant Guide, you’ll foster a calm, respectful environment and collaborate with Lead Guides to support children and families while growing within the Montessori

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach (prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required).

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community.
