Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking warm, dependable substitutes to support its mixed-age classrooms when full-time teachers are out. This on-call role requires no prior Montessori training, as training is provided during orientation.

You’ll work with children ages 0–6, help with routines and activities, and may progress to a full-time Assistant Teacher role. Hours vary with school needs, making it ideal for flexible, part-time work dedicated to early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
