Job summary

Learning Care Group’s Montessori program seeks a dedicated educator to provide an authentic Montessori experience at a community school. The role focuses on implementing the Montessori curriculum, guiding mixed-age classrooms, and fostering innovative thinking in children.

Qualified candidates have MACTE credentials or equivalent, and prior lead teacher experience in licensed child care or Montessori settings.

Qualifications

  • Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
  • Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field; lead teacher experience preferred.
  • Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.

  • Follow licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.
  • Observe, assess, plan for children, and communicate with families.

Our Montessori school has been proudly serving our community for many years. With trained, dedicated educators and decades of experience, we provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. We embrace the authentic Montessori Method with mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials to guide young learners toward becoming innovative thinkers, good citizens, and capable leaders.


Responsibilities


  • Sharing An Authentic Montessori Experience: Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.

  • Policies and Procedures: Follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.

  • Teaching and Communication: Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.

  • Professional Growth: Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.


Qualifications
