Seton Montessori Institute & School in Clarendon Hills, IL, is hiring an Infant & Toddler Program Coordinator to join our leadership team and guide infant and toddler programs. The role focuses on supporting teachers, students, and families, while contributing to teacher education for adult learners.

You will collaborate with staff to maintain high-quality Montessori environments, nurture relationships, and uphold mission-driven values in a renowned AMS/MACTE-accredited community.

Qualifications

• AMS or AMI Montessori Infant & Toddler certification or willingness to complete
• Bachelor’s Degree in any subject
• Minimum of three years of experience working with children in a Montessori setting
• Dedication to Montessori philosophy and to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
• Completion of Illinois Department of Early Childhood (Daycare Licensing) requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Responsabilités

• Create and support a welcoming and inclusive culture
• Provide leadership to the Infant & Toddler programs faculty and staff
• Ensure licensing and accreditation standards are being met by the school
• Execute educational and administrative policies for the Infant & Toddler programs for children and adults
• Coordinate substitutions, staff meetings, and school closings
• Step into classrooms as an extra set of hands and work directly with children
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for Montessori environments
• Coordinate the work of teachers, assistants, and student teachers
• Observe classrooms regularly to assist teachers in evaluating themselves
• Review monthly records and help develop plans for clarification and action
• Support all forms of parent education and involvement in school activities
