Agape Montessori in Kansas seeks a versatile Floating Assistant Teacher to support classrooms from 6 weeks to 6 years. You will collaborate with Lead Teachers, adapt to varied environments, and help maintain a high-quality Montessori experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience across multiple age groups (infants to age 6) preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-required Health & Safety training (paid for and provided by the school).
• Background check, health assessment, TB test, and compliance with state regulations required.
• Strong adaptability, communication, observation, teamwork, and understanding of early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and primary environments.
• Prepare and sanitize Montessori materials to keep learning spaces safe and engaging.
• Assist with self-care routines appropriate to age.
• Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
