Job summary

Child Care Resources Inc. is seeking passionate Teacher Assistants and Aides for our Montessori program serving children aged 3 to 12. The role emphasizes a nurturing, Montessori-aligned learning environment and collaboration with staff.

You will support daily routines, classroom activities, and enrichment programs while promoting safety and development. Evening and conference duties may arise; strong communication with families is essential.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children aged 6 to 12.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday.
• Must be flexible and a team player.
• Full time: 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check level 2.

Responsibilities

• Support the Teacher in implementing an age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Montessori philosophy.
• Maintain a consistent routine and organized supplies.
• Engage in whole groups, small groups, or individuals during classroom activities with the Teacher.
• Assist with copying, replenishing materials, and maintaining supplies.
• Monitor and maintain classroom guidelines in collaboration with the Teacher.
• Participate in pre-planning and in-service days with the Teacher.
• Supervise students during transitions and supervise PE, Art, and Music classes.
• Attend monthly meetings and school events as needed.
• Model grace and courtesy and communicate respectfully with children and families.
