Job summary

Riverbend School in Natick, MA is seeking a Children’s House Director to oversee the Montessori-based program for toddlers through kindergarten. You will lead academic, student, and parental support while collaborating with administrators to maintain enrollment and a strong community reputation.

The role requires at least 5 years in an early childhood setting, Montessori philosophy understanding, and experience with curriculum development, supervision, professional development, and enrollment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an early childhood school setting.
• Understanding Montessori philosophy (training strongly preferred).
• Experience with curriculum development, supervision and evaluation, professional development, and enrollment management.
• Ability to relate to staff, students, families, and contracted professionals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must embrace collaboration in a culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all academic, student and parental needs for Children’s House (Toddler through Kindergarten).
• Collaborate with administrators to ensure robust enrollment and a strong reputation in the community.
• Lead curriculum development, staff supervision and ongoing professional development for teachers.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment across staff, families and external partners.
