Job summary

Riverbend School in Natick, Massachusetts seeks an After School Teacher for grades 1–8. The role is part-time, 2:30pm–5:45pm, Monday–Friday, for the 26-27 school year.

You will lead hands-on activities, support a safe, engaging Extended Day experience, and collaborate with the Director of Auxiliary Programs. Qualifications

• Teaching experience with children in a school or camp setting.
• Understanding of multi-age learning environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Comfortable working in a culturally diverse environment and embracing differences.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging hands-on lessons in collaboration with other Extended Day Teachers and staff.
• Prepare a developmentally appropriate environment with furnishings and activities.
• Ensure student safety and well-being and set clear routines.
• Communicate with parents and staff; report concerns to leadership.
• Monitor attendance and learn school software (FACTS SIS).
• Attend mandatory events and participate in professional development.
