Pine Grove School is seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our team of Montessori educators. Our Maple, Spruce, and Birch classrooms support students ages 3-6, and our Seedlings classroom supports students 18 months through age 3.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in various educational and play activities
• Support classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment
• Light cleaning and office tasks when not needed in a classroom
• Supervise lunch and rest time
• Help with behavior management and provide positive reinforcement
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a stimulating learning experience
  
  

Skills

• Experience working with toddler, preschool, and/or kindergarten aged children
• Knowledge of Montessori principles preferred or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
