Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide at our Spruce Tree school in Raleigh to support a mixed-age Montessori classroom. You’ll help create a calm, engaging space where children ages 0–6 develop independence and a love of learning.

Your role centers on observation, thoughtful preparation, and nurturing relationships with children and families. You’ll work with Lead Guides and peers to foster a collaborative classroom culture, while growing through sponsored Montessori diploma

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
