Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide for our Prosperity school in Charlotte, NC. The role supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom for children 0–6, helping create a calm, empowering environment where kids explore and grow at their own pace.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, classroom setup, individualized activities, and a warm relationship with children and families. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• Availability to consistently work the 9:00 AM–6:00 PM closing shift.
• Genuine love for working with young children and willingness to grow within the Montessori approach.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community
