Qualifications

• DCF 45-Hour Introductory Childcare Training required.
• DCF Director Credential strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing youth programs.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to supervise a team and solve scheduling/logistical problems in real-time.
• Professional communication with parents and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Develop and implement an after-school curriculum balancing academics, Montessori-aligned enrichment, and active play.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise after-school staff and volunteers, maintaining proper ratios.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure DCF licensing compliance and audit-ready student records.
• Operations & Budgeting: Manage daily schedules, attendance, and program resources within budget.
• Family Engagement: Serve as the main contact after 3:30 PM for families, communicating student progress.
• Strategic Growth: Plan for 2026-2027 by scaling offerings for a growing Pre-K-8 student body.
