Job summary

Macomb Montessori Academy in Warren, MI is hiring a One to One Paraprofessional. The role supports a student with a disability in a 1:1 capacity, documents IEP progress daily, and collaborates with the Special Education team to assist teaching and learning.

Ideal candidates bring two years of college or an associate degree, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and maintain records with a respectful, student-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Two years of higher education or an associate degree.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, staff and guardians.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports student with a disability in a 1:1 capacity.
• Completes daily IEP documentation.
• Works with Special Education team to support student.
• Assists teacher with organizing materials and instruction.
• Maintains student records as requested.
• Engages students in learning and fosters respectful environment.
