Job summary

Williams is seeking a Field Operations Manager in Belgrade, Montana to lead and grow its commercial plumbing operations. The role focuses on overseeing field operations across projects, developing field teams, and aligning labor with project milestones on-site.

You will drive safety, productivity, and quality, coordinating with office teams to meet scheduling goals while maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; Journeyman Plumber License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees field operations across commercial projects; drives consistency in execution and productivity.
• Leads and develops superintendents, foremen, and field teams; conducts performance reviews focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and production.
• Forecasts labor needs and coordinates manpower across projects; implements recovery plans for underperforming projects.
• Reviews construction schedules and aligns field execution with milestones; supports look-ahead planning and productivity tracking.
• Reinforces safety culture and ensures OSHA compliance; performs jobsite audits and investigates incidents.
• Coordinates labor, procurement, fabrication, and material delivery with Project Management and General Superintendents.
• Ensures installations meet drawings, specifications, and codes; reduces rework through planning.
• Tracks labor productivity and supports cost control and forecasting.
• Maintains professional relationships with general contractors, owners, and stakeholders; represents the company in meetings.
