Job summary

The Chemours Company in Parkersburg, WV is seeking an Operations Manager (Monomer) to lead the Monomer operation, ensure safety, meet production goals, and drive cost and continuous improvement. You will develop supply plans, manage labor relations, and mentor team members, reporting to the Plant Manager.

A BS degree and 7+ years in operations with leadership are required; chemical engineering is preferred. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in Operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong Process Safety Management (PSM) skills in high‑hazard operations.
• Understanding of environmental regulatory/permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation of the Monomer area in a safe, PSM compliant, and environmentally sound manner.
• Set and meet production schedule, yield, up-time, quality, and transformation objectives.
• Manage monthly cost performance and lead fixed cost reduction efforts.
• Develop and ensure supply plans and performance meet internal/external expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase competitiveness.
• Develop team members for future assignments.
• Create a safe and respectful work environment and communicate goals to gain alignment.
