Job Summary

The Monitoring and Compliance Regional Manager (MCRM) will be responsible for providing general supervision, technical assistance, and training for the local Part C programs, completing monitoring and audit activities on the local Part C programs, as well as support BCW State team members in assuring the program is following both state and federal regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for leadership and coordination of the early intervention activities for the region.
• Responsible for assuring requirements of Part C are met.
• Serves as an Early Intervention/BCW subject matter expert for early intervention policies and procedures.
• Assists the Provider Relations team with recruitment and retention activities to increase and maintain the BCW Provider Network.
• Participate in Provider Relations Office Hours to support EI providers professional development.
• Leading the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) activities for all assigned local Part C programs.
• Regularly monitors local Part C program data and conduct follow up meetings to discuss data monitoring results.
• Work closely with the EI Training & Support Manager to coordinate educational and training programs for both the local Part C program staff and the early intervention providers.
• Work closely with the state program’s database system (Babies Information Billing System (BIBS) and participate in the bi-weekly data vendor calls/meetings.
• Maintains training guidance for required BCW documentation components.
• Assists with developing policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines for the program.
• Conduct audits (i.e., fiscal, child records, etc.) on local Part C programs.
• Works with Office of Inspector General (OIG) on compliance issues in assigned districts.
• Coordinates and co-leads various meetings to support the professional development of the Local Part C program staff.
• Research and recommend best practices for early intervention in Georgia.
• Collaborates with other BCW State team members to highlight best practices and address issues and barriers to local early intervention service provision.
• Schedule ongoing meetings with the Local Part C program managers to discuss individual needs, local program support, and program recommendations for improvement.
• Provide oversight and travel to assigned districts (at minimum quarterly) including frequent monitoring,
• Responsible for assuring compliance with state and federal requirements and guidelines through ongoing evaluation, oversight, and reporting.
• Provides ongoing coordination and monitoring to ensure timelines, reports, and all state and federal regulations are met.
• Provides support for grant applications and needs assessments as required.
• Responsible for effective collaboration between division and DPH programs, public health districts, agencies, and partners.
• Performs other assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role;
• or eight (8) years of related professional experience which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role;
• or four (4) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Business Ops (GSM011) or position equivalent.
