Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician responsible for continuous observation of cardiac rhythms on patients requiring telemetry monitoring and timely reporting of dysrhythmias. The role requires Basic Life Support, ECG monitoring exposure, and fast, accurate dysrhythmia communication.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
• One year experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support preferred.
• Successful completion of an electrocardiogram course or experience and upon hire successful completion of the electrocardiogram monitoring exam within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Description

Responsible for the continuous observation of cardiac rhythms on patients requiring telemetry monitoring and reporting of dysrhythmia to the appropriate individual. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.54 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Additional Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support preferred.
• Successful completion of an electrocardiogram course or experience and upon hire successful completion of the electrocardiogram monitoring exam within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

Minimum Required Experience: Proven experience identifying various arrythmias and/or Telemetry certification required
