Job summary

Baptist Health in South Florida seeks a team-focused professional to assist technical staff and patients across age groups, maintaining a safe, quality environment. The role includes obtaining ECGs, responding to code blues/rescues, and using hospital information systems.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior acute care experience and Basic Life Support are preferred; EOE, including disability/vets, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is preferred.
• DSC2 hospital information systems experience is a plus.
• Previous acute care exposure is helpful.
• Ability to obtain 12-lead ECGs and rhythm strips accurately.
• EOE, including disability/vets.

Description

Provides assistance to technical staff and patients of all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality environment. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction. Correctly obtain 12 Lead ECGs and Rhythm Strips in all age group populations. Responds to Code Blues and Code Rescues. Perform Holter Monitor hookup and interpretation, 24H Blood Pressure Monitors and able to process B/P reports. Ability to operate job related hospital information systems and Pyramis Management Program. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.81 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications

• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.
