Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City North Hills Hospital is seeking a Tele Monitor Technician for PRN/Per Diem shifts. You will monitor, interpret and report telemetry data, recognize rhythms that may affect patient physiology, and coordinate with licensed staff during emergencies.

Responsibilities include documenting rhythm status, reporting changes in pulse oximetry, maintaining monitoring equipment, acting as unit receptionist, and ensuring a safe work environment while initiating Basic Life

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• No experience Required Years of Experience

• Document rhythm status per routine, for all changes and upon request during emergent patient interventions

• Follow procedure for application to patient and troubleshooting monitoring equipment
• Perform clerical, technical and communication functions as directed by the licensed staff
• Act as a unit receptionist, answering phone and page system
• Maintain stock supplies for monitoring area
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Initiate Basic Life Support when necessary
