The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for continuous observation and documentation of cardiac rhythms displayed on the monitor screen of the telemetry console, and for identifying and reporting cardiac arrhythmias/dysrhythmias.

• Communicates courteously and efficiently with internal and external customers, in person or on the phone.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in managing patient flow, communicating with bed placement, nursing supervisors, and CV Coordinators regarding telemetry or system issues.
• Considers safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice when ordering supplies and staffing adjustments.
• Performs supportive unit tasks such as EKGs and lead placement, as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
