Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Monitor Technician to join our team in the cardiology support area. The role requires basic health field experience, completion of a monitor technician course, and successful passing of the HUMC Dysrhythmia Challenge Exam within 6 months of hire.

Computer experience is essential for daily monitoring tasks. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in health-related fields.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED Equivalent programs.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in health related fields.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the field or associated field of cardiology.
• Successful completion of monitor technician course at any hospital facility and the successful passing rate on the HUMC Dysrhythmia Challenge Exam upon hire or within 6 months of hire.
• Exposure and experience in computers.
