Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is hiring for a training apprenticeship with fully paid training, hands-on learning, and a secured position upon successful completion. A training cohort begins December 14th, offering a clear pathway into a Monitor Tech role.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, pass the Monitor Tech exam, and show flexible, patient-focused abilities. BLS/CPR certification and basic computer skills are required, along with a willingness to learn and adapt in a

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of the HM Health Monitor Tech Exam is required.
• Nursing Unit Secretary work experiences in hospital setting is strongly desired.
• Current & Active NUS Monitor Tech work experience is strongly desired.
• BLS/CPR certification from the AHA is required.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology of the heart is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills, order entry, Microsoft Office, and excellent communication are required.
• Must enjoy working with patients and families.
• Must be flexible and able to rapidly adjust to census changes and respond to emergencies.
