Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Nursing Assistant training or Fundamentals of Nursing coursework preferred.
• May substitute 2 years related health care experience with medical terminology for the Terminology course.
• Certification in Cardiac Monitor Technician or Telemetry Technician required (NHA or NTA).

Performs clerical duties on a nursing unit, answers the telephone, relays messages, and acts as a receptionist receiving and directing visitors and ambulatory patients.
