MONITOR TECHNICIAN (16 hrs/nights/EOW) - Temple University Hospital

Join us as a Monitor Technician at Temple University Hospital.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Observing patient rhythms on telemetry monitors and assessing baseline rhythms.
  2. Communicating changes according to department policies.
  3. Maintaining inventory of telemetry and cardiac monitoring supplies.
  4. Tracking telemetry transmitters and ordering supplies.
  5. Assessing and reporting system malfunctions or equipment breakdowns.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Completed coursework in Cardiac Arrhythmia from an accredited program (Required)
  • Ability to pass basic arrhythmia test and demonstrate competency in rhythm interpretation (Required)
  • 1 Year experience in a hospital environment or related healthcare position (Required)
  • Medical Assistant and/or EKG Technician program (Preferred)
