Job summary

Overlake is seeking a dedicated monitor technician in Bellevue, WA, to continuously observe cardiac rhythms and remote video feeds for patients meeting monitoring criteria.

The role requires six months of health-related experience and a high school diploma. You will document arrhythmias, notify the caring RN, and record observations in the EHR. The position is 0.75 FTE with 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in a health-related field required.
• Must be able to successfully pass the arrhythmia identification test prior to hire, or within introductory period.
• Responsibilities include continuous observation of cardiac rhythms and remote video observation when applicable.

The monitor technician is responsible for the continuous observation of cardiac rhythms and remote video observation of patients who meet remote monitoring criteria. Techs are to recognize cardiac arrhythmias, document on monitor strips, and notify the assigned RN of arrhythmia changes.Additionally, if remote video observing, the tech documents observations in the electronic health record.
