Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a monitor technician to oversee continuous cardiac rhythm observation and remote patient video monitoring. The role requires recognizing arrhythmias, documenting findings, and promptly notifying the RN on duty.

The monitor technician is responsible for the continuous observation of cardiac rhythms and remote video observation of patients who meet remote monitoring criteria. Techs are to recognize cardiac arrhythmias, document on monitor strips, and notify the assigned RN of arrhythmia changes. Additionally, if remote video observing, the tech documents observations in the electronic health record.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Experience:

• Six months' experience in a health-related field required.

• Previous cardiac monitor tech experience preferred.
