The Monitor Technician/Clinical Secretary continually monitors cardiac rhythms on a specific unit, identifies and interprets changes in rhythms and acts appropriately. Performs clerical duties on a nursing unit, answers the telephone, relays messages, and acts as a receptionist receiving and directing visitors and ambulatory patients.
High School Diploma with the successful completion of Medical Terminology and Monitor Tech course with a passing score on the examination
MT/Clerical experience
Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
