Job Description

Assists the Registered Professional Nurse in the care of the telemetry patient. Utilizes cardiac monitoring equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms. Maintains an organized and clean work environment. Responds in emergency situations.

Education And Credentials

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Applied Science in healthcare realted field preferred. Basic Life Spport (BLS) within 6 months of hire required.

Experience

1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required. 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred. 1 year of experience as an EMT preferred.
